The Intelligence Doesn’t Accept It

 The Intelligence Doesn’t Accept It
Mr. Waheed said, “How can we accept such stories?  They are such incidents that never even occurred for the ambiyaa (prophets) nor the sahaabah (companions of the prophet); their status is much higher and elevated than that of any wali (friend of Allah)!  It is simply not possible that something extraordinary and miraculous was not done by a nabi or sahaabi, and that same extraordinary and miraculous act was done by a wali!”
I replied, “How strange, you have started using qiyaas (analogy)!  I ask you: Do you see dreams?”  He said, “Of course I do.”
I asked, “Do you see the same exact dreams that ambiyaa and sahaabah used to see, or do you see others as well?” He retorted, “Why are you mentioning about ambiyaa and sahaabah here?  It is up to Allah; whatever type of dream Allah wants he shows it to a person.”
I said:
Sometimes a small child sees a dream and the child goes around informing others in the morning that today I saw in a dream that my grandfather came…. and coincidentally, the grandfather, in actuality does show up making the dream turn out to be true.  No one says about such a dream that it must be rejected as being false simply due to the fact that no elder of the house saw what the child did.  No one says: how could the child have seen such a dream?  Look, Sayyidunaa Maryam (alayhas salaam) is a waleeyah (friend of Allah).  She was receiving out-of-season fruits, while Zakariyya (alaihis salaam), who is a nabi (messenger of Allah) is not getting such (out-of-season) fruits.  Hazrat Aa-ishah (radhiallahu anhaa), in spite of having a husband who is a nabi, never had any child born to her, while Hazrat Maryam without any husband at all is given a son.  Sayyiduna Yaaqoob (alayhis salaam) wipes his hand over his face daily without his sight being returned to him, while Yoosuf’s (alayhis salaam) qamees (shirt) just once being put on his face causes his sight to return to him.  The wind that used to carry around Sayyiduna Sulaiman’s (alayhis salaam) throne was not given the order (by Allah) to carry Nabi (sallallahu alayhi wasal-lam) during his Hijrah (migration) to Madinah within an instance.  Sayyiduna Sulaiman alaihis salam is a nabi (messenger of Allah) but the miracle of bringing the throne of Bilqees is done at the hands of one of his companions.
So brother, this is Allah’s choice.  If he wishes, he can show Baytul-Maqdas from thousands of miles away, or even show someone Jannah (heaven) and Jahannam (hell); and if He doesn’t wish, then the false news of the death of Uthmaan (radiallahu anhu) just a few miles away could not be verified and thus led to Nabi (sallallahu alayhi wasal-lam) taking bay’ah (pledge of allegiance) for the qisaas, of Uthmaan radiallahu anho.  If Allah wants, then from a well within Kan-aan, Yaaqoob (alayhis salaam) would not be able to find out about Yoosuf (alayhis salaam) while being able to smell his (Yoosuf’s) shirt all the way from Egypt.
I told him that your attitude of calling everyone in the world a Kaafir (disbeliever) should be reconsidered and you should do towbah (repentance).
